Bobcat students, parents, and fans. I regret to inform you that Friday’s (9/11) Homecoming game has been CANCELLED. This is due to Alamo Navajo not having enough players to field a team.
We will still decorate floats and have a parade starting at 1:00. After the parade we will go into the high school gym for our Homecoming Pep Rally. At the pep rally we will introduce the court and we will announce the King and Queen AT THE PEP RALLY. The Homecoming dance will still be held Friday night. The dance will start at 7:00 and will end at 9:30.
The elementary students who attend the Kiddie Cheer Camp will still be able to perform at our next home game (9/18) against Mescalero Apache.
On the bright side, we just won Homecoming and the Bobcats are 2-2!

Hello PreK Families,
After monitoring the afternoon driveline over the past couple of days with the assistance of the
Hagerman Police Department, we have identified a few safety concerns that require us to make
a change to our afternoon PreK pick-up procedure.
Beginning Thursday, August 6, all afternoon PreK pick-up will take place behind
Hagerman Elementary, in the area typically used for bus pick-up.
This change will help:
● Improve the safety of our students and families.
● Reduce traffic congestion on Aberdeen Street.
● Allow parents to safely buckle their children into their car seats in accordance with New
Mexico state law.
Please review the map below. Enter through the north gate off Cambridge Avenue when the
gate opens at 2:40 p.m. Follow the one-way traffic pattern around the back of the building, and
staff will direct you to the designated PreK pick-up location (⭐).
We kindly ask that you avoid arriving before 2:40 p.m., as waiting before the gate opens creates
unnecessary traffic and congestion.
Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and flexibility as we work to provide the safest
dismissal process possible. We appreciate the continued support of the Hagerman Police
Department as we implement this new procedure.

del Departamento de Policía de Hagerman, hemos identificado algunas preocupaciones de
seguridad que requieren un cambio en el procedimiento de recogida de PreK por la tarde.
A partir del jueves 6 de agosto, toda la recogida de PreK por la tarde se llevará a cabo en
la parte trasera de la Escuela Primaria Hagerman, en el área donde normalmente recogen
los autobuses.
Este cambio nos ayudará a:
● Mejorar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y familias.
● Reducir la congestión del tráfico en Aberdeen Street.
● Permitir que los padres aseguren correctamente a sus hijos en sus asientos de
seguridad, de acuerdo con la ley del estado de Nuevo México.
Por favor, consulte el mapa adjunto. Ingrese por la puerta norte sobre Cambridge Avenue
cuando se abra a las 2:40 p.m. Siga el recorrido de un solo sentido alrededor de la parte
