Voters approved the Hagerman 2-Mill levy with about 20 percent of eligible voters returning ballots. The vote did not result in any tax increase but helps Hagerman Schools raise funds to provide a safe and well-maintained campus as well as a state match that helps the schools with capital projects.
The District Spelling Bee was held on February 4, 2019 around 36 Students in grades 3-8 participated. Congratulations to our winners: Cynthia Villa from the middle school and Isaiah Armenta from the elementary. Both students will represent Hagerman in the Spelling Bee Competition on March 2nd.
Fifth Grade students sponsored a Pet food during the month of December. Items were donated to the local Animal Shelter. Thanks for all the contributions!

Mrs Rodriguez’s class invites fathers to “Donuts with Dad.” Fathers were able to come into class with their preschoolers and read stories to them. Then everyone enjoyed doughnuts and some orange juice.
Hagerman Cross Country team came back from the State meet with Martin Flores in third place and Cerria Lucero in sixth after receiving medals. All members improved and ran their personal best times of the season at the State meet. Congratulations all on a job well done this season.
