FFA Teams Place at State

Hagerman FFA parliamentary procedure team brought second place back from Portales Monday, January 16. Greenland parliamentary procedure team came in fourth. Congratulations to both teams for their hard work!

Come to the high school commons area this Thursday at 6:30pm for your holiday bingo fix. Turkey bingo was a great hit and this month, we have some great prizes.

CC State Championship Bound

Four members of the Hagerman Cross Country Team have qualified for the 2011 NMAA State Cross Country Championships to be held November 5, 2011 at Rio Rancho High School. Maleka Villa will be competing in the A-AA race starting at 10:00 a.m. with Joaquin Chavarria, Joshua Starkey, and Jake Morales competing at 12:05 p.m. 

Hagerman FFA Places at Nationals

Congratulations to the Hagerman FFA Quiz team who went to nationals this year and brought back 5th place. Lizzie, Ruth Ann, Jessica and Lori got to compete with the best in the country. These sophomores look forward to another year of competitions. 

Character Counts picks Local in Art Contest

We would like to congratulate Ashley Stackpole-Velasquez for winning the PreK-1 division of the Character Counts art contest. She was recognized Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Super Celebration event at Roswell High School. Ashley's artwork was on display and she received a medal of honor.

Dig Pink Raises $1,500

The Varsity Volleyball Lady Bobcats raised $1,500 in the battle to help breast cancer survivors. The annual "Dig Pink" game was played against Eunice on September 22. The players presented Sabrina Porte with a check from money raised at the game.

NHS Bike Ride for Cancer

On Wednesday, October 26, National Honor Society hosted a Bike-a-Thon to Lake Van to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Almost $500 was raised and will be used as a donation for cancer treatment.
