FFA Members Earn Degrees

Four Hagerman FFA members recently learned of their approval for various FFA Degrees.  Juniors Adiel Clark, Dakota Grinder and Jada Villa will be raised to the NM FFA State Farmer Degree at the 91st Annual State FFA Convention in June.   A State Degree is earned when a student earns and invests time or money in a Supervised Agriculture Experience program or SAE.  Each of these students met the requirements of time, money, leadership, and community service to receive the honor.  They bring the total count of State FFA degrees earned by Hagerman students to 89.
2018 HHS Graduate and Hagerman FFA member Dylan Barbee will also be recognized as an American FFA Degree candidate.   The American FFA Degree is awarded to members who have demonstrated the highest level of commitment to the FFA and made significant accomplishments in their SAE program.   Each year less than 1% of FFA members earn the degree

Dylan will become the 6th person in Hagerman FFA history to earn the honor since 1931.  A formal invitation will come later this summer to be present at the National FFA Convention in October.
